Intimate Image Abuse
Sharing, or threatening to share, intimate images without consent is a crime that can come with a five-year prison sentence. If you’ve been affected, know that you are not alone. Help is available.
Our Report + Support platform is here for our students and staff to report incidents of Gender Based Violence, Hate Crime, Harassment or Bullying to us at RGU, either anonymously, to simply disclose, or to get further support from our services.
If you are concerned about reporting an incident of Sexual Violence or other form of Gender Based Violence because of Covid-19 restrictions, please be reassured that we are here to support you irrespective of your circumstances.
During Covid-19 you have the right to feel safe wherever you are and whatever you are doing. Our RGU services are still running and many external services have on-line or telephone support. The police and health services are still here to help you.
Covid-19 Domestic Abuse Campaign
Bystander Intervention helps individuals or groups to actively address a situation they deem problematic.
Consent is when someone agrees, gives permission, or says 'yes' to sexual activity with another person(s).
In the case of an emergency, if you are an RGU student and have no money to get home, and are in a dangerous or unsafe situation, you can order a designated safe taxi from Rainbow City Taxi's and use your student card as payment.
